Germany's 1/72 scale Bv 222 V2
is available online from Squadron
Here is my Revell Blohm und Voss Bv 222 V2 in 1/72 scale.
The model has been built with the following additional parts:
-
Eduard photoetched parts: engine
wires and the mandatory antennas.
-
Eduard canopy masks.
-
Fishing lines has been used for the
external wires.
-
The stand has been created by filling
a wood plate with DAS.
-
The water effects has been created
with a metallic sphere used to give the irregular shape of the
waves. After applying the intermediate seablue (lifecolor) a
drybrush with a white color has been applied too. A generous amount
of transparent has been applied with a final layer of the Tamya's
smoke.

The weathering has been realized applying oil colors with airbrush
at low pressure, some effects near the engines has been realized by
removing the oil colors with a cotton bud. Before applying the
transparent a general drybrush (white color) around the perimeter
has been applied too.
The photos has been enhanced with Photoshop to remove the
background.
