		Here is my 1/48
Hasegawa F-104G in Marineflieger markings based on Hasegawa Kit # 07220
		F-104G NATO PT20.

		It represents an
		aircraft of German Marine  26+67,  C/N 7413, MFG1 from Schleswig-Jagel
		in 1978

		The model was built
per kit instructions and used CMK resin detail sets listed below:

		·
		Replaced CMK resin
Lockheed C-2 Ejection seat with German specified MB seat. I used
CEC48256 Cutting Edge Modelworks Martin Baker GQ-7A Ejection Seat with
		belts for the F-104G/TF-104G.

		·
		Resin non-kit supplied
components are:  CMK # 4098 cockpit, rear cockpit electronics black-box
area, nose radar installation and 20mm ammo box.  CMK # 4099  provided
the J-79 Engine and access panel detail, 20mm gun, landing gear bays and
		oxygen reservoir area.

		·
		Added a red anti-collision
beacon to the top and bottom of the fuselage as seen on German F-104G’s.
The “G” used by other operators may not have this feature since it was a
retrofit and late production manufacturing change order for German
aircraft.  The large fuselage anti-collision beacons are missing from
the kit but clearly visible in photographs seen on page 55 of the Detail
		and Scale Vol. 38 text.

		The airframe was
painted with a mixture of Gunze Sangyo acrylic paints # H42 and H337
Blue Gray on the topside with some H307 Dark Ghost Gray on the bottom to
match color photos. For the very visible “Hi-Viz” wing tanks I used
Gunze H11 Flat White as a base coat. When it was totally dry I sprayed
them with Gunze H98 Fluorescent Orange.
