Veltro is available online from

Here is Hasegawa's 1/48 scale Aermacchi C.205 " Veltro" (Grayhound).
This is a C.205 "Veltro" MM92575, with first serie wings but with 2 X
20mm guns , of Squadriglia Autonoma “Montefusco” , Gruppo Complementare
Caccia – Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana (ANR), Venaria Reale airbase
( Torino – Turin - north Italy ) in March 1944.
I built this kit some years ago straight from the box with the
camouflage in the first photo on the last page of the Squadron "in
action" book.

But, after 10 years, I decided to modified this camouflage reproducing
the airplane of the first fighter group organized after the Mussolini’s
government defeat , employed for the defence of the industrial area of
the north-west Italy , in particular near Turin , Genoa and Milan ,
there weren't , and today too, the most important aircraft industries (
Fiat – Aermacchi – Piaggio ).
You can see, in photo 0-1-2-3-4, the old camouflage and the improvement
in particular inside the landing gear box.
Also the external gun sights are in thin metallic wire; as is the early
stub radio mast.
In foto n.7-8-9 , ecc the camouflage operations , the text of “ ali e
colori “ ( wings and colours “) , Italian book that inspired my
restoration.
The camouflage consists of a standard scheme dubbed smoke rings. This
comprises a base of Giallo Mimetico 4 (mimetic brown ) and verde
mimetico 2 ( dark green )and Grigio Azzurro Chiaro 1 (Light Blue Gray )
undersides.

I used exclusively a mixture of Tamiya basic colours , Gunze and Humbrol.
Decals are a combination of Hasegawa, Tauro Model and Sky Models.
