Here is Huma's 1/72 Messerschmitt Me 209 V1.
The kit includes parts for the wider span V4 version but the all-blue
civil scheme appealed to me.

The completed model is very small- about 4" in length and span.
There's some basic detail in the cockpit which I added to using the
excellent photo on Huma's instruction sheet as reference. I needn't have
bothered, as the canopy is so thick that little can be seen through it.
(When I build the V-4 version I'm going to try making a thinner acetate
replacement)
The kit itself isn't bad but is unnecessarily complex in order to
accommodate the two variants; the tail is particularly difficult to
align, fill and sand. The nose has a separate part for the upper cowling
but it was virtually impossible to clean up the seam, so I sawed off the
air-cooler and exhausts to facilitate this.

In doing so I managed to destroy the exhausts so I replaced them with
parts from a junked Hasegawa 109E, which also supplied the wheels.
