This is Andrea Miniatures "Samurai , 1300" figure, in 54mm. The item number is SM-F05

I must be a glutton for punishment , because when I chose this figure out of the pile of Samurai I have, maybe I could have chosen something a little easier to start with.

Enough of the whining. This figure is actually a really nice one to do, it went together really well, there was minimal clean up, and I love the topic.

It is one of Andreas earlier Figures, Detail is not as good as some of their later sets, but as you can see, there is still plenty of detail to boot!

Painting, this is where it got interesting, as there are many different colors and patterns to choose from, but in the end I pretty much went from the box, with only a couple of very small changes to the patterns themselves.

Painting the patterns was definitely a challenge, but with a lot of patience and some nice fine brushes, I eventually got there.

Paints used for this figure , where Vallejo Acrylics, Tamiya Acrylics and Model Master Enamels.

I am really happy with this figure, as it would be the most challenging one so far for me, and think it came out looking not to bad at all.
