1/72 scale Typhoon Mk.Ib is available online from Squadron
Here's my little Hawker Typhhon MkIb (late).
It is the Academy 1/72 scale kit, built almost straight
from the box, using an Eduard set for cockpit interior and small parts
and the Airwaves' resin Tempest style tail elevators.
Wheels are weighted using a 15 watt home lamp, and
gently pressed on the warm bulb.
Fuse connections on the rocket fins are simply stretched
pieces of sprue.
The model was painted with Gunze Acrilyc color, using a 4 passages
technique: first the color without modification, then I add to it some
dark gray, thinly sprayed over the panels lines, after a slightly
passage with the base color lightened with white or yellow over the
center of the panels and in the end a last passage of the color wery
thinned to tone down everything. Lines are also passed with H95 smoke
gray, sepia china ink and dark gray ecoline, all very thinned and fine.
Dry brush of brown, orange and dark earth enanches
contrast all over the aircraft.
I photographed all with my Nikon Coolpix 5700
